![]() Songs for Kali, Songs for Shiva (2013, 44 pages, 8x5.5 inches) began in a fit of book vandalism and became a series of collages about neurotic sexual combat. Kali and Shiva are consorts who have aspects of destroyers, here they are distrustful lovers turning these aspects on each other & the world as they unleash their frustrations. The collages are made from a book about earthquakes, a black marker, chunks of text and image whose crude arrangement mirrors the inarticulate style of this battle. |
